We hold regular auctions throughout the year within the King’s Lynn Auction Rooms at Blackfliars Chambers. We bold auctions for antiques, collectables, household goods and effects. We carry out local, national and international advertising and have a substantial buyer’s database. Our advice upon items for inclusion at auctions is free, collection is arranged, storage pending sale is free and insurance cover is provided. We offer efficient computerised auction administration and have an established reputation in the area for auctions, gained over many years.

Tawn Landles Auctioneers and Valuers are the established providers for the specialised service for valuations and inventories for a variety of clients and purposes. We are regularly carrying out valuations of entire property contents, selected items or single pieces. Valuations can be provided for insurance, Probate, Inheritance Tax, matrimonial purposes, etc.

Inventories are prepared, individually listing items using referenced on a room by room basis with itemised valuations. These are in a format to allow for easy hack reference and updating. A degree of detail, etc., required can be tailored to particular purposes. Individual colour prints can be incorporated into the report where required.

It is important that contents insurance is kept up to date and should be reviewed every three years particularly where antiques and object d’art are concerned. The growth in values of such items in most instances outpace the usual indexing applied. We strongly recommend to all home owners particularly with antiques to get up to date appraisals if it has been some time before the last valuation.

We have extensive experience in providing valuation advice to Executors and Administrators of Estates. We can provide detailed inventories, overall figures and valuations of separately bequeathed items. When required we would he pleased to advise on any disposals by auction. We have provided Probate valuations to Solicitors administering estates for many years and are conversant with the requirements of Section 160.IT Act 1984.

We are able to provide appraisals, valuations and inventories for matrimonial and or Court purposes. This may be on an Expert Witness basis or jointly instructed independent expert basis. We are conversant with CPR implications. Due to the variety of circumstances we will discuss requirements on a case by case basis.

Periodically companies and partnerships will require valuations and inventory of equipment and chattels contained in business premises. For example these are often required when there is incoming or retiring partners. We will be pleased to discuss individual requirements.
